Next to the agora we find the Temple of Hephaestus (450BC), one of the best preserved ancient temples!

Two deities were jointly worshipped in this temple; God Hephaestus protector of metallurgists and Athena Ergani protecting potters.

In the 7th century AD the temple was converted into a church, which helped to its preservation.
